We played a round of paper, scissor, rock to determine if Ricky was gonna skip class to come film or not.

Needless to say he added another absence to his record.

David Morefield not only did this backside 360 perfect, but also filmed it in a line.

While cruise'n the streets we found these sculptures. Things got real fun after that.

This past Saturday Me & The Morefield Bros headed out to Orlando to meet up with Evan, Lanky, Ben, & some Gainesville homies. We met up at Howard, the usual spot where you go to get rid of some serious car legs. By the time we had arrived Lanky had already filmed a good line with Evan. Ben arrived & we got artsy shooting vintage 35mm pics. Made our way to the parking garage gap where Lanky had some unfinished business but his business was left still unfinished after snapping his 3rd board after 3 different attempts. With no back up or gas money they decided to head back to Brevard. Found out that the Gainesville heads weren't leaving there till late so we decided to make our way to Lakeland where we have been having some good luck lately. Our luck continued as David who was hurt so bad that he didn't even bring his board got this photo & a clip using my board without a problem. The rest of the crew stacked some clips & then we were out.

All of us from Commit Or Quit would like to pay our respects to Will Durham who has passed away today. Will was a genuine person who treated you with respect no matter who you were. He loved skateboarding & gave a lot back to it over the years. The Orlando skate scene will truly never be the same without him. Rest in Peace my friend!

Jonathan Hadley has been part of the crew for quite sometime but because he was already filming for a full part in Matt Oistacher's "Criteria For Failure" we were unable to put him in the line up. Jon just recently decided that it was to hard for him to make it up to Jacksonville enough to film with his homies up there so he wants to focus on filming a part for "Commit or Quit". We always have been hyped on his positive attitude, his love for skateboarding, & raw talent. Welcome aboard "Lanky"!

This past Saturday The crew split up with some of us heading north to Gainesville & the rest of us headed over to Orlando for the day. I'm sure Scott will report on here how things went up in Gainesville but this write up is about our trip to Orlando which consisted of Tyson Stripling, Jonathan Hadley, Stephen Oliveira, & Myself. We warmed up at a perfect ledge spot where Jonathan came up on a line. Tyson had a pretty bangin' line but unfortunately it didn't come together with last trick which he was trying to learn while filming. Don't worry Tyson! We'll go back & you'll get it man! We then went to the infamous Gateway Ledges where normally we get sucked into a black hole & then half the day is gone. Jonathan had a sick line worked out but the second I went to get my camera out & setup a random Orange County Public Schools security officer pulls up & gave us the boot. Guess it was just fate. Jonathan was dying to switch flip the Oak Grove Dub Set so we made sure he got what he wanted & he not only got it with ease, but also got two angles & an awesome photo with Stephen. Ben Eubank & crew met up there then we made our way to this bank to wall spot. Ben got a switch backside wallride then we were out to this gnarley ditch spot. The ditch spot dished out a lot of punishment so we decided to finish out the day in Downtown. Ben got a line at D-Block then I had to call it quits after a bad head cold started to get the best of me. Tyson says it was from the Baconator I had for dinner. Haha! Bought a mint super 8 camera a few months ago for $30. Shot my first test roll & wasn't sure if the thing even worked. To my surprise it worked perfectly! They don't make the batteries for the internal light meter so I used a free light meter for the iPhone to set the exposure. Looking forward to shooting more super 8 footage for Commit or Quit.

Kass, Ricky, and Nathan went to Orlando on Saturday to stack some clips. Kass got two lines, a beast down a gap, and an over rail no bail. Nathan even got a line! I would say that was a good outcome to a bad start. A guy at Howard majorly freaked out on us telling us to leave. Well after Ricky put him in his place we dipped out. We are happy to announce that we have added another primary filmer to the line up!! Scott Kramer, is that man. He has gotten allot of footage of the guys over time which led us to question; why don't we just ask Scott if he wants to contribute the footage to the video and also if he would like to continue to help film? Well we asked him but he said "NO". We couldn't accept that answer so we viciously tortured him for months in an abandoned warehouse until he finally said "OKAY, OKAY I'LL DO IT JUST DON'T CUT OFF MY OTHER EAR!!!" We are extremely sorry to everyone for the major lack of blog content lately. Well as far as Throwaway of the Day goes it's good that we haven't had much to throwaway sense we ran out of what we had. That means we are stacking hard! Once again we are very sorry and we will be posting again more frequently from now on no matter what it is we may have to post to keep it up. Tell all your homies to check up on the blog again.

Also we will be printing our first tees really soon. This package we get will be for the riders only and close homies in the crew. We will print a larger package a little later for everyone to buy at a real cheap cost!! So we will keep you all posted on that as it comes to form.

We have also been talking a bit about throwing together a teaser video. It may not be for a few more months but we will have one soon enough. We have been working on title names and a basic theme for the video also and it is coming to together super sick so we are hyped on that!!

Gainesvillian Invasion!

Our Gainesville homies Erik Knudsen, Dante Debose, & Luis Jaramillo came into town for the Memorial weekend. The first night we lit up the infamous Biker Ledge & the Bridge Spot. After filming & shooting some photos, Nathan & Ricky witnessed a drunk lady go off the road & knock down a light pole. They stopped to check on her and she asked them to help her elude the authorities. After a big "Hell no", the cops showed up. Long story short, it was certain she was going to jail as she was freaking out while they interviewed her. The next day we manage to avoid all the rain & Dante got a clip at BJ's & then we finished the day with a Eastwood Sesh. All in all it was good times with good friends. We hope you guys come back real soon.

Night Adventure

Well after being harassed by the cops for skating in the streets we thought maybe we should start playing some street stick ball because that would be okay. Or maybe we can be come druggy bums that would be better too. But instead we just went to the 19th Hole and Shane's little guys downstairs got an un-pleasurable banging. Here are a few shots of the after math. One is of us peeping the footy and the other is of Shane lying down in pain and with the feeling of defeat.

Cops and Robbers

We went over to Orlando to film with Kass and Shane on Sunday. Here is a shot Ricky took of filming Kass sticking a Flick Noseslide at "AB8". Well he never got the chance to actually land it because we got kicked out by the cops. To make a long story short we didn't get trespassed but we're not going back because we'd rather not get a felony charge for being on a construction site or charged for breaking an entry. They have Nathans name and plate number now too.

Also AB8 is not exactly an accurate name for the building because the cop told us it was a Navy barracks that was condemned. So I guess the name for it should really be NB8. Anyway Kass stuck this trick at least 3 times but got robbed on the roll away. To bad the cop couldn't catch the robber!

Okay, with our loss of constant blog content from the lessoning ability to post Throwaway of the Day everyday we have come up with one alternative so far. This alternative is Screen Grab Somedays. Well we have come to our end of throwaway clips. This is good though because that means everything else is being kept for the video! There maybe a few more clips I can scrounge up and we will get more in time to throw up as throwaway but it will not be everyday. In it's place we will come up with new ideas to keep the blog stimulating! Keep checking back for them. We will have them up as soon as possible. Thanks for the support!!

These are the designs for the future Commit or Quit tee. We will be selling them and with every purchase of one the Commit or Quit DVD will come with it for free. We will be printing a handful of them soon for our crew to repp in the streets. The rest will be sold when the DVD is closer to being complete. We hope you enjoy the designs and will want to rock one. We chose to put the big focus chart on the back and to make the tee white because photography and videography are huge in skateboarding now a days and how awesome would it be to have you and your boys on the spot with a perfect focus chart and white balance reference all on one back!!
